Zong Finally Signs with LUMS  Contract for Provision of Dedicated Internet Services

Zong has partnered with one of the leading international standards of Pakistan LUMS to promote the provision of VDI solutions along with dedicated Internet services.

A contract signing ceremony was held between the management of LUMS and Zong. Previously, Zong has also set up a mini-service center at LUMS to provide all its campus users with the opportunity. The telecommunications giant has also installed its 4G research lab at the university.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is basically a virtualization technology that consists of the desktop operating system on a central server in a data center.


Zong is Pakistan's leading telecom service provider with more than 2.8 million subscribers in over 300 cities across the country. It has also announced the intention to invest more than $ 200 million in Pakistan to expand its network.
