The leadership awards Civil Society (CSLA) provides fully funded master's program to individuals who clearly demonstrate the academic and professional excellence and a deep commitment to leading positive social change in their communities.

Objective:

Awards are available for citizens of the following countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Laos, Libya, Myanmar / Burma, Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan

These Grants / Inclusions:

Grantees CSLA receive full funding for their degree courses, including accommodation and travel to summer school CSLA before their studies, the trips back to their home university, a stipend for the duration of their studies, tuition fees and health insurance, a small fund for professional development, travel and conferences dealerships.

Eligibility of Students:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• be a citizen of an eligible country
• demonstrate maturity, flexibility and leadership potential of civil society
• have an excellent academic record and a bachelor's degree obtained before applying
• have mastery of the language of instruction (English, German, French or) to a level required for the admission of the partner universities, as evidenced by the results of standardized language tests
• be able to participate in an intensive program of academic writing in July or August 2017 and begin their study program in August or September 2017
• be able to receive and maintain a visa or study permit as required by the host country
• demonstrate a clear commitment to return to their home country or region to continue supporting the development of open society
Application Instructions:

Interested candidates must complete and submit an online application or paper CSLA English to be considered for support CSLA. Note that some colleges require a separate application for graduate study at that institution. In these cases, the Open Society will notify candidates and help with the college application process. The deadline of September 15, 2016.
